Perfect Effect PD-01 Robot v2 with Star Pilot

There is a great toy out based on Transformers and Biotron from the Micronauts line. It's by the Perfect Effect Toy Company and available as PD-01Robot V2 and Star Pilot. It's a miniature combination of two great toy lines and collectors couldn't ask for a better toy.

Much like Biotron yet much like Optimus Prime yet small like Micronauts and Microman?!?! The best of all of these are mashed up in a fully articulated dream figure. He's complete with a teeny, tiny figure call "Star Pilot" that has a home in PD-01's chest. Biotron much?

I cannot stress enough how much I love this figure. It's a quality build, meant to be played with. As a collector, I am used to flimsy, poorly made(ie, Palisades Toys) or brittle, age -damaged vintage pieces. So, it's quite refreshing to find an awesome piece that can actually be played with. 

It's also visually pleasing to see such a respectful interpretation of the beloved Biotron(or Robotman) toy that is often considered a top shelf addition to any serious action figure collection. PD-01 is as solid as a new piece can be. It certainly beckons top tier respect in my display.
