Camera just arrived to take pictures of tie dyes
I just got my new camera to start taking pictures of the tie dye process. I should have a few pictures and how to's on the way soon for several different tie dyes. Til then...My Tie Dye Creations found there. Peace always...Jimmy Tie Dyes.

It is a modern version of traditional dyeing methods used in many cultures around the world. Tie-dye can also describe the resulting scheme or theme, which this model. Tie-dyeing became fashionable in the West in the late 1960s and early 1970s as part of hippie style.

ReplyDeleteTie-dyeing is done by bending the material into a model, and its connection with string or rubber bands. The dye is then applied only part of the material. Ties all materials to prevent staining. The designs are formed by applying different colors of paints for different sections of wet tissue. A wet t-shirt is much easier to use the stain to dry shirt. Once completed, the material is rinsed, and the dye is fixed.
